TERMS & CONDITIONS

The present Terms and Conditions govern the offer and supply of Services provided by Tequila Tour by Mickey Marentes on the site  www.tequilatourbymm.com.

The Terms and Conditions may be modified without notice at any time.

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT

You may only confirm a reservation using our official website (www.tequilatourbymm.com) once you have acknowledged the acceptance of the present Terms and Conditions.

The prices quoted on our websites are provided in US Dollars (USD). Prices may be subject to change.

Payment must be made using a credit card and the secure payment system available on the Site at the time of the reservation or on demand via Paypal, by e-mailing mmarentes@tequilatourbymm.com.

Confirmation of the reservation will automatically be sent to the email address captured by the user, and will include information such as: name and date of the tour booked, quantity, total price paid in USD, important information relative to the tour and contact information of Tequila Tour by Mickey Marentes.

The payment is non-refundable.

We cannot accept reservations made over the phone or by email with payment due on the day of the tour.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

There are no refunds except for cancellation of the Tour by the Operator.  In case of a client cancellation the payment is non-refundable.

Tours operate all year round and are not affected by weather conditions.

ADMITTANCE FEES

Prices do include entrance fee to distilleries, museums, archaeological sites or attractions (unless specified).

TOURS IN GUADALAJARA - DEPARTURE AND RETURN POINTS

Group tours:

 The tour starts and ends at the hotel or place of stay of each participant/party - literally door to door.  By default, the pick up area is limited to the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area.

Private tours: 

For a private tour of 2-3 people or more, pick up can be offered from Chapala, Ajijic or Tequila at an additional cost. 

For private tours only, airport pick up/drop off can be offered at an extra cost.

For both the group/private tour:

Hotel information must be provided at least 3 days before the day of the tour.

Dietary requirements?

Lunch venues visited can accommodate most dietary requests: vegetarian, pescatarian and vegan. Please advise when booking your tour and up to 3 days before the tour date.  We cannot guarantee that same-day requests can be accommodated.

Special circumstances 

We do our best to answer email enquiries within 48 hours of receipt as courtesy for our clients. If we contact with for clarification regarding your place of stay or dietary restrictions, we would appreciate an answer back before 48 hours of the start if the tour/experience. If we do not hear from you, we will assume there are no special needs to be accommodated. 

TASTING EXPERIENCE IN MEXICO CITY

The exact address for the tasting will be shared in a separate communication. The standard location is in the historical center of Mexico City, a few blocks from the Bellas Artes Museum.

NO SHOW

All our tours/experiences have a 15-minute tolerance period from the agreed pick-up or start time. Communication is key as if we do not hear from you we will assume you are no longer interested in participating in the tour for that day and the reservation will be considered a no show.

Because of the cost involved in moving staff and a vehicle to your location, there will be no refund possible.

ITINERARY MODIFICATIONS

Unless previously discussed, agreed to and confirmed in writing, same-day modifications to the itinerary are not possible.  No itinerary modification can be made to any of the group tours.  We reserve the right to alter any part of the itinerary without notice.

Tour variations and cancellations may occur due to extreme weather conditions, distillery closures and last-minute changes received from distilleries or traffic disruptions. If any of these circumstances should arise, Tequila Tour by Mickey Marentes will revise the itinerary to impact as little as possible on the remainder of the tour.

If the tour is cancelled completely by the Operaror, Tequila Tour by Mickey Marentes will try to re-book the clients for a date convenient to both parties, or refund monies in full.

We reserve the right to use alternate vehicles and operators where required.

Every effort is made to provide the best touring experience, but no liability is accepted for any illness, injury, delay, inconvenience, loss or damage whilst on tour.

CUSTOM PRIVATE TOURS

We are open to discussing your idea of a custom tour however once an itinerary has been agreed upon, there can be no short-notice or same-day changes made.  Visits to specific distilleries not offered in our regular tours can be arranged but will need to be confirmed first and paid for in advance as they may be susceptible to different pricing than that shown online.

ADD-ONS FOR PRIVATE TOURS

Add-ons such as mariachi, flower arrangement or professional photographer must have been negotiated and agreed to in advance and must have been paid in full a minimum of 15 days before the tour.

Important information:

Customers must be able to prove age over 18 years for the consumption of alcohol at distilleries or at the tasting venue in Mexico City.

Travel Insurance:

Tequila Tour by Mickey Marentes recommends you have adequate travelers insurance that covers illness, delays, loss of property etc.

Code of Conduct:

Tequila Tour by Mickey Marentes and the distilleries will not accept intoxicated and/or unruly behavior. Federal, State and local municipal drinking laws apply.

PERSONAL EFFECTS

Luggage or personal effects are carried entirely at owner's risk.  TEQUILA TOUR is not liable for any loss, damage nor theft of luggage or personal effects.  We strongly suggest that upon concluding the tour, participants ensure they have all their belongings and purchases in their possession.

It is very important that you verify that you have all of your belongings with you at the time of drop-off (including but not limited to wallet, telephone, keys, souvenirs, bottles and sunglasses. If you have forgotten an item I the vehicle, the only option will be for you to recuperate it on the next business day at our offices. 

TOUR DURATION

We must also decline all responsibility for any losses, inconvenience or expense caused to clients by delays, strikes, or weather conditions. 

The tour duration is approximate: Guadalajara being Mexico’s second largest city, traffic conditions can prove heavy upon returning and therefore are out of our control.  Specific time constraints or obligations should be considered and evaluated by the participants as the tour will not be responsible for the loss of reservations/plane tickets.

PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL

Our team may take pictures or video of the passengers, and of the atmosphere while traveling with TEQUILA TOUR which may be used for promotional purposes.  Should you wish not to be featured in the photos and/or videos, kindly advise the guide.
